B2 Publishing Story
Blue Shoe Publishing, an arm of Blue Shoe Strategy, now Blue2 Media, was created as a separate entity when writers we were working with expressed a desire to have us do it all. Editing. Design. Strategy. Production. It made sense and we are so proud of the work we have done and the success of the authors we work with continue to achieve. And, since 2015 and with the increased need for content for brand building, our primary focus has turned to what we consider is so important in the world of books; marketing.

First, let's re-define the term publishing. Whereas the public at large considers publishing to center around the production of books and magazines, the new world of publishing includes so much more. We are all online authors of our lives, our careers, and what we wish to 'sell,' and how we want to be perceived. So, publishing is done every day through a variety of vehicles, which Blue2 Media focuses their efforts on. But for authors and their books? That's all done at Blue2 Publishing.
Our founder, Christine Merser, is a writer (her first novel, Flight of the Starling, launches in February, 2024), blogger (voted as one of the ten best blogs in 2008), vlogger and podcaster. Her love of both the written word and new forms of authorship through blogs, vlogs and podcasts and and and, has charted the new focus of our work, Blue Publishing.
